Domaine Michel Chapoutier Saint-Joseph Deschants Red 2013 Jeroboam 3 liters

Domaine Michel Chapoutier Saint-Joseph Deschants Red 2013 Jeroboam 3 litres

129.50 € Tax included

This 2013 Saint-Joseph Deschants from Domaine Michel Chapoutier comes from a Syrah vineyard located around Tournon, in the villages of Mauves, Saint-Jean de Muzols and Lemps. In the 19th century, this wine was known as Mauves wine and was enjoyed as far away as Russia at the table of the tsars.  It is offered here in a 3-liter Jeroboam.

It offers a beautiful intense garnet colour with a floral nose in its youth that evolves here towards liquorice and truffle notes. The attack on the palate is supple, the finish is long and the whole is opulent and silky, marked by red fruits and spices.
