Domaine Ampelidacees Monamona White Sweet Wine Vin de Tahiti - Box of 6
This Monamona cuvée is a sweet white wine from Tahiti from Domaine Ampélidacées that offers a golden yellow colour. The nose is marked by fresh muscat notes from the Italia and Muscat grape varieties that make up the majority of the blend. This wine then asserts itself more mineral, the coral marking by its presence with some smoky notes, all with a beautiful aromatic intensity. The attack is fresh despite the 25 grams of residual sugars and the fruit stands out well on the retro-nasal olfaction. Carignan brings structure to this sweet wine with a very nice balance. The finish is fruity accompanied by a beautiful minerality that will be accentuated with ageing in the bottle. This elegant and aromatic wine is the perfect accompaniment to an aperitif or seafood.
This extraordinary and improbable wine is produced in the heart of the South Pacific, in Tahiti, in the Tuamotu archipelago in French Polynesia. The Domaine Ampélidaceae vineyard is located in Rangiroa (in Paumotu language, the island of the immense sky) considered one of the largest atolls in the world, renowned for the beauty of its seabed and now also known for its wine ..... At the end of the coral road lined with coconut palms, rows of vines suddenly appear. The vines grow 100 m from the lagoon and less than 400 metres from the great ocean. It is the result of rigorous and passionate research based on observation and adaptation to a protected and rare ecosystem.
