The 2021 Clos du Récif is a Tahitian wine from Domaine Ampélidacées, a rare cuvée made from 100% Carignan and which is only made in years when the vine has been able to be grown in optimal conditions.

It offers a straw colour with light yellow reflections and notes of lime blossom and verbena on the nose with a hint of spicy citrus. On the palate, the attack is frank, the balance is perfect between freshness, liveliness and aromatic complexity and the length is persistent. The wine is aged mainly in vats with only 20% in oak barrels, and allows us to offer a wine of great finesse.

This wine is produced in the heart of the South Pacific in Tahiti in the Tuamotu archipelago in French Polynesia. The Domaine Ampélidaceae vineyard is located in Rangiroa (in Paumotu language, the island of the immense sky) considered one of the largest atolls in the world, renowned for the beauty of its seabed and now also known for its wine ..... At the end of the coral road lined with coconut palms, rows of vines suddenly appear. The vines grow 100 m from the lagoon and less than 400 m from the great ocean. It is the result of rigorous and passionate research based on observation and adaptation to a protected and rare ecosystem.
