This Volnay 1er Cru Santenots-du-Milieu 1999 is a great red wine from Burgundy from the Côte de Nuits from the famous Domaine des Comtes Lafon, which comes from a 3-hectare plot of the estate. Les Santenots is one of the most famous in Volnay and is located in the commune of Meursault. It extends the Volnay hillside over an area of more than 30 hectares and is divided into 3 parts: Santenots-du-Dessus, Santenots-du-Milieu and Santenots-du-Dessous. The Santenots-du-Milieu offer the deepest wines of the appellation on 8 hectares.
