Domaine Huet Vouvray Le Mont Premiere Trie White Sweet Wine 1989
This magnificent sweet Vouvray Le Mont Première Trie 1989 of over 30 years of age is produced by Domaine Huet. The Mont plot extends over about 8 hectares and was acquired by the family in 1957.
Its stony soil of green clay on a tufa base is rich in flint (silica) and gives the wines of the Mont a chiseled minerality, a very nice tension and offers great longevity. It is the plot that gives the greatest sweetness (first sorting).
Premiere Trie (first sorting) is the result of a careful selection applied during the harvest. They are carried out in successive passages, only the best berries are harvested. The overripe or botrytised grapes offer good concentrations of sugar and acidity.
