Domaine Joseph Drouhin Beaune Cras 1er Cru Red 2017
This Beaune 1er Cru Cras 2017 is a red wine from the Côte de Beaune in Burgundy produced by Domaine Joseph Drouhin. It offers a beautiful deep ruby red colour with fresh and intense aromas of black and red fruits, blackcurrant and blackberry, with light vanilla notes, evolving with age towards notes of leather, truffle and sweet spices. On the palate, the attack is frank and the tannins are fine and harmonious, with delicate woody touches on the finish.
This climate is located north-west of Beaune, at the top of the hill and faces east-south-east. It owes its name to the toponym "Cras" from the medieval form "crai" indicating a stony, limestone terrain.
