Champagne Perrier Jouët Belle Epoque 1999
This 1999 Belle Epoque cuvée from the Perrier Champagne House is made from a blend of Chardonnay from the Côte des Blancs for 50%, Pinot Noir for 45% and Pinot Meunier for 5%. It has been aged for a long time in the cellar for 6 to 7 years.
This beautiful Champagne from the 1999 vintage, excellent in particular for Chardonnays, offers a very rich nose with floral notes (white flowers), honey and brioche notes. On the palate, the attack is frank with flavours of dried fruit and candied fruit. It is a precise and airy Champagne, with a finish of beautiful persistence.
