This cuvée La Grande Dame 2018 from Maison de Champagne Veuve Clicquot is a great Champagne in a sunny year, made from a blend of the historic Crus of Veuve Clicquot, 90% Pinot Noir and 10% Chardonnay, dosed in Brut at 6 grams of sugar per litre. This is the 25th vintage of this cuvée.

This Champagne has a beautiful golden colour and a very mineral and fresh nose, with light floral notes of jasmine and acacia that evolve into fruity notes of pear and clementine. On the palate, the silky texture envelops the palate for a wine full of tension and elegance. 

It will go perfectly with the best vegetables cooked with meat and fish as condiments. The Grande Dame 2015 also offers exceptional ageing potential, of at least twenty years.
