This 2019 Mavro cuvée is a Greek red wine produced by the Petrakopoulos Estate in Kefalonia, in organic farming and made from 100% of the Mavrodaphne grape variety.

This beautiful red wine offers an exuberant character with aromas of black fruits, vegetal and spicy notes. On the palate, harmonious tannins envelop a round and fresh substance, with touches of sage and bitter chocolate.

It will pair very well with traditional Greek dishes, such as veal or lamb stews, especially if cooked with herbs like sage or bay leaf.
