This "Chair à canon" cuvée from Poivre d'Âne is a natural red wine made from 100% of the Aubun grape variety. The name of this wine refers to the highly productive character of Aubun, also known as Moutardier, giving very juicy grapes, a grape variety that entered for decades in the blends of French table wines before being abandoned for Syrah in particular.

"Chair à canon" is a natural red wine vinified in vats with a short maceration, half of which is in whole bunches and half destemmed bunches. It has a light colour and fruity aromas on the nose, dominated by red fruits. On the palate, it is a greedy, light, unstructured wine, with discreet tannins and fruity notes. It will be the perfect accompaniment to a festive aperitif, summer salads or grilled meats.
