This Meursault Villages 2015 is produced by Maison Joseph Drouhin on the place called "En Luraule", a plot of 0.45 hectares that adjoins the famous premier cru climate of the Gouttes d'Or. The grapes are harvested by hand in small crates and thewines are aged in barrels on fine lees for 12 months.
This beautiful Meursault offers a beautiful golden colour and a concentrated and very elegant nose, with aromas of almond and hazelnut, pastry, fine spices and toasted dried fruit. On the palate, the substance is round and silky, very harmonious, with a very persistent finish on marzipan, gingerbread and brioche. It can be enjoyed today and stored in the cellar until around 2035.
