Domaine de Chevalier Pessac-Leognan Grand Cru Classe de Graves 1981
This great red wine from Domaine de Chevalier is a Grand Cru Classé from Graves in the Pessac-Léognan appellation.
The year 1981 saw exceptional climatic conditions until the harvest and the 1981 vintage would undoubtedly have been of exceptional quality, like its successor 1982, if the rains that fell before and during the harvest had not diluted the wines. The wines of Graves eventually offered beautiful wines that reached maturity quite early and one has to look to the best, such as Domaine de Chevalier, to find wines that have survived over 35 years.
If you want to offer a wine from 1981, La Bouteille Dorée offers a selection of bottles from the 1981 vintage.
You can also find the wines of the Domaine de Chevalier at La Bouteille Dorée: Grands Crus Classés from Pessac-Léognan, old vintages from Graves.
