Château Les Ormes de Pez Saint-Estèphe Cru Bourgeois

Chateau Les Ormes de Pez Saint-Estephe Cru Bourgeois 2013

34.90 € Tax included

Château Les Ormes de Pez 2013 is a great red wine from Bordeaux in the Saint-Estèphe appellation. It offers a beautiful freshness, precision and remarkable fruitiness, with subtle spicy notes. Having reached maturity in this vintage, it can be enjoyed today with a lamb shoulder confit in the oven, or wait a few more years, until around 2023.

The chateau and vineyard, the latter divided into two parts, are located in the hamlet of Pez to the north of Saint-Estèphe. It is owned by Jean-Michel Cazes, who also owns the Grand Cru Classé Château Lynch-Bages. In the vineyard as well as in the winery, the same philosophy as in Lynch-Bages prevails.
