Poivre d'Âne Mauzac Vin de France White 2024
This dry, round, fresh and fruity white wine, with aromas of white fruit and vanilla notes, is made from organic grapes of the Mauzac grape variety, in Limoux. It is made without added yeast and with a tiny dose of sulphite.
It will be the perfect accompaniment to a festive aperitif, summer salads or cheeses.
Mauzac is a white grape variety from the South-West, which has become quite rare, which is mainly found in the wines of Gaillac and Blanquette de Limoux, and sometimes as a complement in the blends of Entre-deux-Mers or Côtes-de-Duras wines. The planted area of this grape variety is only about 5000 hectares.
