SHIRAZ
One of the five largest red wine varieties in the world with 186,000 ha planted, Syrah is present mainly in France and Australia and to a lesser extent in Spain, Argentina, South Africa, the United States, Italy, Chile and Portugal. Syrah generally offers elegant, powerful and aromatic wines (black fruits, spices, chocolate, tobacco). Some wines from the Syrah grape variety: Côte-Rôtie, Hermitage (France), Victoria (Australia).
