The Grand Vintage Collection was created in 1842 when Moët & Chandon decided to offer one of the very first vintages of Champagne to its customers and connoisseurs who were looking for more mature wines. Each Grand Vintage cuvée is unique and an interpretation of the vintage by the Cellar Master, which stands out for its maturity and complexity, all in harmony, with sweetness and freshness.

This Grand Vintage 2016 offers a bright pale yellow colour with green reflections, and a fine and persistent bubble. The nose expresses itself on floral aromas, elderberry and jasmine, fruit, white peach and watermelon, and notes of fresh brioche and marzipan. On the palate, the substance is ample and supple, with floral, aniseed and menthol touches that bring both freshness and lightness to this great Champagne. The finish is delicate and persistent with fresh almond bitters.
