Champagne Taittinger Comtes de Champagne Blanc de blancs 2011 - With gift box

The Comtes de Champagne Blanc de blancs 2011 is the prestige cuvée of the Taittinger Champagne House and is made exclusively from Chardonnays from the five villages of the Côte des Blancs classified as Grand Cru (Avize, Chouilly, Cramant, Mesnil-sur-Oger and Oger). It is only produced in the great vintages and since 1952, only 36 cuvées have been produced.

The grapes are harvested when the grapes are perfectly ripe, with extreme care taken in picking and sorting the bunches. Each terroir is pressed separately and then, after vinification, there is a long period of 10 years during which the bottles wait patiently in the house's chalk pits.

The 2011 Comtes de Champagne Blanc de blancs cuvée offers rich and complex aromas of white fruits and citrus fruits as well as white flowers, notes of pastry, raisins and candied fruit, and a mineral, fine and elegant structure. On the palate, the attack is lively and then gives way to a lot of suppleness and aromatic richness and a very long fine finish, with a touch of spice and liquorice. It is this alliance of aromatic elegance, maturity and finesse that makes this cuvée an exceptional Champagne.
