The 2020 "Mille façons" cuvée is a red wine in IGP Hautes-Alpes from the Domaine du Petit Août, made from 100% old vines of the Mollard grape variety and produced in certified organic farming. Since 2009, when he set up shop, Yann Agostini has been reviving Mollard, an autochthonous black grape variety that had almost disappeared.
To make this cuvée, Yann Agostini fermented the whole bunches in oak barrels and mixed them every day to wet them with their own juice. It offers us a wine with a beautiful garnet red colour and a nose with marked aromas of red fruits, sour cherry and pepper, typical of the Mollard grape variety. It is a richer and also more supple wine than the "La Mémoire Neuve" cuvée, also expressing its finesse, very silky on the palate.
