The 2023 "Tout Compte, Tout Compte Fait" cuvée is a red wine in IGP Hautes-Alpes from the Domaine du Petit Août, made from 100% old vines of the Mollard grape variety and produced in certified organic farming.

The Mollard grape variety is an autochthonous black grape variety that had almost disappeared. The vines are planted on the old cone of the Vallauria torrent at a place called ''les Graves'' in the commune of Théüs.

This wine is distinguished by a more assertive character than the "La Mémoire Neuve" cuvée. The nose remains delicate on the fruit and the flavours of red and peppery fruits dominate on the palate, on silky tannins. It is a wine for ageing, which can be kept until about 2030.

Find the wines of the Domaine du Petit Août , created in 2009 by Yann Agostini, currently on sale as well as our offers of wines made from rare or forgotten grape varieties of Isère, Savoie, Provence and Languedoc.
