This beautiful Lion 2020 cuvée is a Greek red wine from the Peloponnese and made from 100% of the ancient Agiorgitiko grape variety, produced by the Giannikos Estate in organic farming. Lion refers to the first of the twelve labours of Hercules, the Nemean lion, from which the Agiorgitiko grape originated.

It offers a beautiful ruby colour with a rich nose on fruity aromas of cherry and plum and spicy notes of nutmeg. On the palate, it has a nice balance with controlled acidity, supple tannins and a beautiful finish. It will be the perfect accompaniment to grilled lamb and pork, sausages, poultry and pasta dishes.

This Nassitis 2021 cuvée is a Greek white wine wine produced by Domaine Vassaltis on the island of Santorini in the Cyclades, from the grape varieties Assyrtiko for 50% and Athiri and Aidani for 25% each. The vines are planted at an altitude of more than 350 metres on basaltic soils (volcanic rock) with very low yields limited to 12 hl/ha. The grapes are harvested by hand.

It offers a beautiful aromatic expression of yellow fruits, citrus fruits and white flowers with slightly smoky notes. On the palate, the structure is fine and mineral, with touches of bitterness on the finish. A very nice wine to enjoy with seafood or grilled white fish.
