This beautiful Italian red wine from Puglia in the Salento IGT appellation is produced by Tenuta Giustini from vines of the Primitivo grape variety. This very old Italian grape variety is the ancestor of the Zinfandel grape variety found in Californian wines in the United States. The harvest is entirely manual, the destemming is total and the ageing is carried out in vats for 6 months.

It offers a bright ruby colour and aromas of red and black fruits on the nose with delicate notes of violet and wild mint, typical of the Primitivo grape variety. On the palate, the substance is dense and fruity with supple tannins, and a finish with notes of almond. It will go perfectly with grilled and roasted meats, mature cheeses and cold cuts.

This Barolo from Mauro Molino is a great Italian red wine from Piedmont, made exclusively from the Nebbiolo grape variety.

It offers characteristic aromas of red fruits with floral notes, rose and violet. On the palate, it is a perfectly balanced, delicate and structured wine, with fine tannins, and a long finish.

It will go perfectly with grilled meats, mushrooms, fresh pasta and truffle dishes. It can be kept in the cellar until about 2035.
