This 2020 Malbec from Domaine Casarena is a beautiful Argentinian red wine that comes from A grelo y Perdriel in Luján de Cuyo in the Mendoza region, at almost 1000 meters above sea level.

It offers a beautiful purple and on the nose, aromas of red fruits (raspberry) with subtle notes of cinnamon. On the palate, the substance is concentrated, well structured with supple tannins and light notes of vanilla and tobacco brought by the ageing, and the finish is long and refreshing. It will go very well with pork ribs, grilled beef skewers, duck confit and spicy cuisine in general.

Alberto cuvée is a superb Argentinian Malbec from Bodega Noemia located in Patagonia in southern Argentina, made from 95% Malbec complemented by 5% Merlot, which comes from a 4-hectare plot of vines planted in 1955. It comes from organic and biodynamic farming: controlled irrigation of the vines from the pure waters of the Rio Negro, no treatment or addition of sulphites.

It offers a dark purple colour and a very aromatic nose of black fruits and sweet spices. On the palate, it is a powerful wine with fruity flavours, perfectly balanced between the ripeness of the fruit and refreshing acidity, with a persistent finish with spicy and liquorice notes.
