Clos Triguedina Cahors 1979 Magnum - Wooden box 1 Magnum
The 1979 vintage in Cahors is one of the very good vintages of the appellation. This 1979 Clos Triguedina, offered here in Magnum, offers beautiful aromas of spices and undergrowth and a beautiful finish on the palate.
Clos Triguedina has belonged to the Baldès family since 1830: it is one of the most beautiful estates in Cahors and one of the founders of the appellation. It is now in the hands of Jean-Luc Baldès, a fine connoisseur of the Malbec grape variety, who creates superb single-vineyard cuvées of Cahors wines such as New Black Wine and Probus.
The best wines of Cahors, such as those of Clos Triguedina, are wines that can be kept for several decades in good vintages and that often offer more pleasure to taste than many well-known wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy or the Rhône Valley.
If you are looking for a bottle of wine from 1979 ormore generally a wine from a vintage of a year of birth, the wines of Clos Triguedina are an excellent choice.
If you are looking for Magnum wines to offer a beautiful wine gift or celebrate a milestone, find our selection of 150 cl Magnums and larger bottles, such as a 3-litre Jeroboam or a 6-litre Methuselah, in our Catalogue of large capacity bottles.
