This Clos Triguedina 1993, offered here in Magnum, is a beautiful wine from Cahors, in a rather mediocre vintage in many regions of France. After 30 years of ageing, it still offers beautiful aromas of black fruits, spices and undergrowth on a velvety substance.

Clos Triguedina has belonged to the Baldès family since 1830: it is one of the most beautiful estates in Cahors and one of the founders of the appellation. It is now in the hands of Jean-Luc Baldès, a fine connoisseur of the Malbec grape variety, who creates superb single-vineyard cuvées of Cahors wines such as New Black Wine and Probus.

The best wines of Cahors, such as those of Clos Triguedina, are wines that can be kept for several decades in good vintages and that often offer more pleasure to taste than many well-known wines from Bordeaux, Burgundy or the Rhône Valley.

If you're looking for a bottle of wine from 1993, or more generally a wine from a vintage from a year of birth, the wines of Clos Triguedina are a great choice.

If you are looking for Magnum wines to offer a beautiful wine gift or celebrate a significant event, find our selection of 150 cl Magnums and larger bottles, such as a 3-litre Jeroboam or a 6-litre Methuselah, in our catalogue of large capacity bottles.
